IBM are pleased to announce their latest offering, IBM Intelligent Networking Support (IINS) for Cisco Networks. This new technical support services offering integrates parts of Cisco Smart Services support into their standard IBM Managed Maintenance Services for Cisco (MMS) offering.
This support service can bring state-of-the-art collector technology into your network environment to comprehensively catalogue the hardware, firmware, software and other elements that can affect network availability and performance. IBM filters this data against Cisco and IBM databases to identify any number of different exposures, and gives you output in the form of a dashboard which provides a visual overview of the state of your Network, including remedial actions.
The Dashboard identifies core devices which are not covered by support contracts, your current level of iOS and potential security issues which unchecked could lead to unseen or longer outages to your network.
