Effective August 31, 2013, RSA Authentication Manager 7.1 will go end of sale.
This means that the last date to purchase a 7.1 license will be August 31. Any new licenses generated after this date will be for Authentication Manager 8.0 or for the RSA SecurID Appliance 3.0 (running RSA Authentication Manager 7.1 software).
Existing 7.1 customers will not be impacted. If you are using 7.1 you will need to download the 7.1 software; it will still be available through RSA SecurCare Online (SCOL). Existing 7.1 customers will also be able to upgrade licenses or add additional users. Additionally, this does not impact any support plans for 7.1 that can be found on http://www.emc.com/support/rsa/eops/servers.htm.
New Authentication Manager customers will not be able to purchase 7.1 software licenses after August 31, 2013. Customers purchasing new licenses in the next 30 days will be informed that after August 31, only 7.1 hardware appliances will be sold for new RSA Authentication Manager purchases.
