On the 14th June at the Business Partner Community Conference – Recarta was presented with an award for selling IBM Technology into the Mid-Market sector.
Recarta was singled out for a deal transacted into the mid-market space. Our client was in need of a new platform to support its cloud services and required a storage system that could be self healing, easily replicated and would easy scalability with little required management time.
A lot of work has been completed behind the scenes in demonstrating IBM’s commitment to the Cloud marketplace, with regular support and information around IBM solutions.
Recarta provided a capacity On-Demand XIV, which gave the client the confidence in the IBM Storage technology. This win is significant as it emphasizes the importance of IBM XIV in the cloud space and underlines Recarta’s strategy to sell IBM’s technology to managed service and cloud providers.
Despite competition from 3PAR, the client chose to stay with IBM’s XIV storage solution because of its proven ability to perform and IBM’s competitive pricing policy.
This award is a testament to the commitment that Recarta has made to selling IBM infrastructure solutions to the mid-market sector.
